Catching Fish

"Catching Fish" is the final assignment I completed for the Expression Session course offered by the School of Motion. During this course, I discovered a valuable technique for motion designers: animating in After Effects without using keyframes by writing code. I was amazed by the power of this approach. It helped me understand how much easier it can be to achieve the desired results using expressions compared to using keyframes.

The FUI is composed of multiple panels, each animated procedurally without the use of keyframes.

Exploration

The HUD is composed of multiple blocks and elements, all brought together in a single Master panel through compositing.

I then enhanced the HUD to a cinematic style by adding screens, compositing details, and crafting a title design that resembles a movie intro.
